However, this 3,000 square foot house was by far the most challenging and involved. Jodi incorporated all of our desires in the square footage limitations that we imposed on her. She listened well and captured our vision immediately. She created a home that takes advantage of the marsh view and fits well on our 3/4 acre heavily wooded lot. The design process was very challenging due to an over involved, gated community 12 member ARC Board. Jodi handled the long tedious process very professionally. When I heard that Cathy was designing the home and wanted it to be a "tidal" home I knew that her style would fit hand in glove with my "Chesapeake Cozy" style. The architectural detail on the home was top notch. In my area, I particularly loved the strong columns. I repeated the detail in my custom built-ins flanking the fireplace. “We worked with Feinmann on the total remodel of our home in Milton. Feinmann's team was very thorough and responsible, and made sure our needs and interests were respected in the design and execution of our home. They worked with us at every stage to keep us clear on where we were in the project and what the next steps were. Their execution was quite impressive - I felt strongly that the foreman on the job took personal pride in his work and the work of his team and they were diligent in repairing / replacing items that were less than perfect (scratches in the finish of the floor, etc.). As with most older homes, there were some unpleasant surprises during the demolition phase of the project that caused the overall price to increase, but the project manager was good about calling those out and taking time to work up different solutions so we understood the cost implications the best we could. The results of Feinmann's work are truly excellent, and we are very happy to have worked with them on our project.”

“We hired Brickmoon Design to draw plans for our small 1920 bungalow to add a 2nd bath and were hoping to get the washer/dryer into the house (from the garage). They came up with 2 main ideas, took dimensions and we had the survey done, but we have not made a decision on whether to 1) stay within our small 1350 sf footprint, or 2) add onto the house at a substantially higher cost. My husband doesn't want to spend the extra money to add on but I like the addition idea the best, so we have not gone any further. So far, we are out about $5,000 for plans and survey but are stalled. Brickmoon gave us exactly what we asked for, but I still think there has got to be a cost effective way to add an additional 200-300 square feet. Am I dreaming?”
